Apparently, my video for the haters had mixed reviews from my artist friends.  A couple people were concerned that that kind of PR could hurt my chances of getting work at Marvel or DC.  Of course, the guys who don’t have to deal with the politics of the cottage industry (like my buddy Chuck) thought it was great.  Can’t please everyone.  Can’t be something your not.

Oh, don’t listen to Distorted View’s Sextastic Tuesday while trying to blog.  It can be… distracting.  That podcast, in case you can’t tell by the title, not for virgin ears.  Really.  It’s bad.  Don’t listen to it.

Grant Perkins, full of awesome, was kind enough to pencil up a pinup for Special Edition!  I slapped some colors on, and I really dig the end result, and I think Grant does as well.

Be sure to check out Grant’s work over at www.TheGrantPerkins.com and his webcomic over at  www.doxxville.com.  Grant went above and beyond doing this, and even double-checked my neck on the colors.  The man is meticulous.

Well, Chad should be chiming in today with his writer’s playlist.  He’s currently working on a serialized story featuring the Pirate Gang that will be starting up some time next week, and he’s like to share a few tracks he’s been grooving.

I’ve been talking to Tim Henson from the Distorted View daily podcast about doing a logo or image that he could use, and today he’s got it up as album artwork and a  mention of the site. You can see the illustration below.

Tim’s a hilarious, if Not-Safe-For-Work kind of guy, and I’m a huge fan of the freakshow he puts on every weekday.  He even through in a lifetime subscription to his Sideshow for the work I did.  You can check out the show below at:
