Other Projects

As epic as the story of Special Edition is, our creative minds still crave more creative challenges. Each member of the Bohemian Zen crew is involved in one or more other projects, creating other worlds and telling other stories with other characters.

Crazy Mary
Crazy Mary is a cyberpunk fueled action comic written by Bohemian Zen’s Michael Colbert and featuring art from J. K. Woodward (IDW’s Fallen Angel). Mary is a bounty hunter in Megalopolis. Mary can see thing– spirits, auras, monsters. Sometimes they help, other times they don’t.  Are they real or is she crazy?

Psychosis
Written by Bohemian Zen’s Chad Boudreau; Art by Lou Manna; Lettering by Kel Nuttal; Cover Art by A.J. Casperite. The Dabb Asylum has been renovated to become the student residence for a new State University built on its grounds. Once a place to heal damaged minds, the former asylum is now helping shape minds of the future, but Dabb’s halls and rooms are haunted with the memories of its patients. These intangible remnants of madness and despair are going to take hold of the Dabb’s new residents. Enter Dabb House and you enter the dark places outside of reality. The Three Princes
Bohemian Zen writer Chad Boudreau is one of four writers featured in a crime comics anthology slated to be published in 2009. Boudreau’s installment, The Three Princes, is the tale of three twelve year-old boys growing up tough in the 1920s America. Art is by Manoel Magalhães and lettering by Ed Brisson. Cutter’s Reward
Bohemian Zen writer Chad Boudreau hired artist S.T. Smith to illustrate and letter a 6-page horror / western. The story, Cutter’s Reward, was submitted to and recently accepted for publication of the Hamtramck Idea Men, publishers of If-X. Cutter’s Reward will appear in a 2009 edition of If-X, possibly the October edition. More on that as things develop.

Black Salt
Bohemian Zen writer Chad Boudreau is going to use bohemian-zen.com to pimp his projects and there is nothing you can do to stop him! Chad was hired by Ratti Entertainment to write Black Salt #1. The comic is adapted from a Ratti Entertainment motion picture screenplay. A movie is in the early stages of development. The first issue of the comic is due to be out in the Fall of 2009, published by Blackline Comics. Chad also recently signed on to write issues #2 and #3. The Porch / Ten Dead Men
When not lettering for Bohemian Zen projects, E.T. Dollman can be found working on the webcomic The Porch as well as Ten Dead Men on Wowio.
